Cooking School Guarantee
We are committed to providing our cooking school students a fun and informative experience in their own homes. We guarantee that your Clandestine Chef will be knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. After the lesson you will have an opportunity to answer a short survey concerning your experience. This survey will ensure that our quality standards are being met by our Clandestine Chefs. If unsatisfied with your cooking school experience, you will be entitled to a full or partial refund of the lesson cost depending on the situation.
Chef Safety
All of our Clandestine Chefs have the ability to cancel cooking lessons prior to or during a lesson if they feel threatened or endangered in any way. Some examples of this are abusive language, uncontrolled behavior, and other potentially dangerous situations. Our Clandestine Chefs will make every attempt to continue the lesson and to resolve the issue, but if the dangerous situation persists the lesson will be cancelled. If a lesson is cancelled because of a dangerous situation caused in the student’s home, no refund will be honored.
Lesson Cancellation and Refunds
The mission of the Clandestine Chef is to “make life simply delicious” and our cancellation policy reflects this philosophy. We will refund 100% of the price of your Clandestine Chef cooking lesson if you cancel the lesson more than 48 hours in advance of your scheduled lesson. We will refund 50% of the price of your Clandestine Chef cooking lesson if you cancel more than 24 hours in advance. Any lesson cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson will not be entitled to any refund.
Lesson Modification
Students are welcome to change the number of students and diners scheduled to take part in a lesson if student requests such change more than 48 hours in advance. Upon such notice, the price of the lesson will be increased or decreased depending on the change requested. To make lesson modifications, please email request@clandestinechef.com.
Definition of Student and Diners
The Clandestine Chef allows customers to customize their cooking lessons by selecting the number of students and diners that will be attending the lesson and eating the food that is prepared by the students. The Clandestine Chef allows students to take full advantage of the cooking lesson and they are welcome to watch and participate in the cooking lesson. In addition, they will receive a Clandestine Chef Cookbook, Recipe Cards, a great meal, and a discount toward future purchases of cooking lessons and cooking essentials. Diners, on the other hand, are only entitled to a great meal which is prepared by the students, and a discount toward future purchases of cooking lesson and cooking essentials on the Clandestine Chef Website. Diners who attempt to participate in a cooking lesson will be politely asked to leave the kitchen and it will be suggested that if they would like to participate that they sign up as a student in the future.
Lesson Terms and Agreement
By registering for and/or participating in the class or other event identified as Clandestine Chef Cooking School (the “Event’), hosted, promoted, endorsed or otherwise related to The Clandestine Chef Inc., or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, including but not limited to “Clandestine Chef’, as well as its franchisees or any other entity related thereto, you hereby agree to the terms and conditions of this Waiver and Indemnity Agreement.
“FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION” of my participation in the Event, I hereby agree that I shall not assert any responsibility or liability adverse to the Clandestine Chef, its affiliates, subsidiaries or franchisees, including, but not limited to “Clandestine Chef’ and their directors, officers, agents, members, representatives, and employees, in any manner whatsoever, for any aspect of the Event.
I understand and agree that I will be solely responsible for, and assume the risk of, the food handling procedures which I employ during the course of the Event or after any food prepared by me.
Further, I do hereby agree without exception to indemnify and hold harmless the Clandestine Chef, its affiliates, subsidiaries and franchisees and their directors, officers, agents, members, representatives, and employees from all responsibility for any injuries or damages I sustain, or that anyone affiliated with or connected with me in any way may sustain, in connection with or resulting directly or indirectly from my participation in the Event and the food handling procedures I, or anyone affiliated with or connected with me in any way may, employ after the Event.
Clandestine Chef Cooking Essentials Guarantee and Warranty
Money Back Guarantee
We are extremely proud to offer only the highest quality cookware and kitchen tools to our customers. However, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase you are welcome to send it back to us within 30 days for a complete refund. In order to receive the refund all original packaging must be included with the undamaged merchandise. Email cookware@clandestinechef.com for a Return Authorization Code (RAC) prior to sending the cookware back.
Lifetime Warranty on Culinary Institute of America Products
All Masters Collection® products carry a Lifetime Warranty
Robinson Home Products Inc. promises to repair or replace any item found defective in material or workmanship under normal household use and following care instructions. Minor imperfections and slight color variations are normal. This excludes damage from misuse or abuse, such as improper cleaning, overheating, neglect, accident, fire or theft and does not apply to scratches, stains and discolorations. This warranty also excludes incidental or consequential damages.
If you believe you have a defective product, please call Customer Service at 1-800-245-2433 for a Return Authorization and instructions for returning the product to Robinson Home Products Inc. for replacement. This warranty gives you specific legal rights which may vary from state to state.
